The Time Group was founded in 1958 by the late Caswell J. Caplan, whose vision and integrity continue to guide the family and the firm. The company thrives today under the guidance of Caswell’s wife, Connie, Chairperson, and son, Mark, President and CEO, who exhibit a deep and lasting commitment to the prosperity of their employees, investors, partners, vendors, and community.
In addition to investing heavily in the growth and improvement of Baltimore’s communities, they have devoted their time to the city’s cultural and educational institutions, serving on the boards of Bryn Mawr School, Gilman School, Johns Hopkins University, The Walters Art Museum, Baltimore Museum of Art, Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy, Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust, The Community Foundation and Maryland Public Television.
