The development firm behind the conversion of the former Hochschild Kohn warehouse in Mount Vernon is planning a 15,000-square-foot retail concept aimed at mirroring North Baltimore’s Belvedere Square.
The Time Group hopes to attract 15 vendors to the concept, dubbed Mount Vernon Marketplace. Vendors will likely include a wine bar, a fresh oyster stand, a charcuterie vendor and a stand that sells pickles. Dominic Wiker, development director for the Time Group said the marketplace will be smaller in footprint than Belvedere Square but will serve a similar population.
